Waterville Valley reached out to Plymouth State in the Fall of 2021, and a digital marketing class helped develop a few ideas for reaching the college market. One of the issues Waterville Valley identified was that they were primarily attracting families, but they wanted to bring in more young adults.

For the 2021 – 2022 season, Plymouth Creative is working with Waterville Valley Resort on a social media micro-influencer program aimed to boost the resort’s outreach to college-aged skiers and snowboarders in the northeast.

This is an example of some of the work we did during this micro-influencer campaign. Waterville Valley wanted to reach more college students for future growth, so we partnered with college students from local universities to gain interest.

These students would go to Waterville and shoot footage to post on their social media accounts. In exchange, the students received free skiing and food for the days they were there.
